Infrabase MCP server

A remote MCP server at infrabase.ai/mcp. No key, no signup. Its tools are read-only except one: requesting a featured listing, which only sends an email after the user confirms. The data is the same hand-verified directory behind the site: products, the EU view, and verified per-model prices. Licensed CC-BY-4.0, attribution to Infrabase required.

Connect

Claude Code

claude mcp add --transport http infrabase https://infrabase.ai/mcp

Claude.ai / Claude Desktop

Install it from the Claude directory: Infrabase in the Claude directory. That listing uses the six read-only data tools.

For all eight tools, add it as a custom connector instead: Settings → Connectors → Add → Add custom connector. Paste https://infrabase.ai/mcp as the server URL and choose "No sign in" when asked about authentication.

Cursor

Add to ~/.cursor/mcp.json (or .cursor/mcp.json in a project):

{
  "mcpServers": {
    "infrabase": {
      "url": "https://infrabase.ai/mcp"
    }
  }
}

Codex

codex mcp add infrabase --url https://infrabase.ai/mcp

Other clients

Any client that speaks MCP over Streamable HTTP can connect directly. Point it at https://infrabase.ai/mcp. No authentication header is required.

Read-only endpoint

https://infrabase.ai/mcp/public serves the six data tools below and leaves out the two vendor tools. It is the endpoint listed in the Claude directory.

Tools

For vendors

Not listed yet? Submit your product. Listing is free and every submission is checked by hand. There is no submission tool on the MCP server.

Two tools cover featured listings. featured_listing_info answers questions about price and what featured placement buys. request_featured_listing sends a request on the user's behalf, but only after they confirm: it sends their email address to Infrabase. A person replies by email; calling it charges nothing. How that email is handled is in the privacy policy. Paying for a featured listing never changes what any tool here returns; results are never sorted featured first and carry no featured flag.

Scripts and other integrations

For a plain HTTP API instead of MCP, the same data is available at /api/query. See the endpoint docs for every parameter.
