Its CARA-4 model runs at around 180ms average response latency and supports 70+ languages. Avatars can be picked from a library, generated from a text prompt, or created by uploading an image. Tool calling and knowledge base retrieval are supported at runtime, and any LLM can be connected behind it.
Integration is through a JavaScript or Python SDK, a no-code embeddable widget, or drop-in support for LiveKit and Pipecat. Anam Labs reports SOC 2 Type II certification and HIPAA-aligned controls.
