Stagehand
AI-powered browser automation framework with natural language actions, extraction, and observation
Stagehand is an open-source TypeScript SDK by Browserbase that adds an AI layer on top of Playwright for browser automation. Instead of writing brittle CSS selectors, developers use three natural language primitives: act() to perform actions, extract() to pull structured data with Zod schemas, and observe() to read page content. The AI layer makes automations self-healing when sites change. Stagehand supports OpenAI and Anthropic as LLM providers and works with Browserbase cloud or local browsers.
