OpenAI Decisions API
Typed answers with probabilities for yes/no checks, fixed choices and rubric scores
The Decisions API is OpenAI's endpoint for questions with a fixed set of answers. You send text, images or both with predicate, choice or score questions to POST /v1/decisions. It returns probabilities instead of generated text. gpt-6-luna is the only model so far.
It is generally available, after a public beta, with up to 400 questions per request. Zero data retention and HIPAA are available to eligible customers, with data residency in the US and Europe.
Uncached input costs $0.10 per 1M tokens. Cache hits are discounted, cache writes are charged and output is free.
