PIC Standard
Open-source check that blocks an AI agent's tool call unless signed evidence backs it
PIC Standard (Provenance & Intent Contracts) is an open protocol and Python library that sits between an AI agent and its tools. Before a tool runs, the agent submits an action proposal: its intent, the impact class, the inputs behind it and signed evidence. PIC checks it against your policy and trusted Ed25519 keys and blocks the call if verification fails.
It runs locally under Apache-2.0, with integrations for MCP, LangGraph, OpenClaw and Cordum plus an HTTP bridge for other languages.
