Wire stores documents and structured records in containers that AI agents read through an MCP server or a REST API. Each container exposes a small set of tools for exploring, searching, navigating and writing, so an agent gets scoped access without you building a retrieval layer.
Search runs a hybrid pipeline of BM25, vector embeddings, HyDE and LLM reranking. Embeddings stay internal, so this is a retrieval service rather than a vector store you query directly.
Ingest covers PDF, Office documents, plain text, Markdown, CSV, JSON and XML, with unstructured files chunked and structured files parsed per record. Documented clients include Claude Code, Claude Desktop, Cursor, Cline and n8n. A free tier gives 3,000 credits without a card.
