ego lite is a free Chromium-based browser built for running AI agents and human browsing side by side. Agents get isolated Spaces to run browser tasks while your tabs stay yours, and they can reuse your real logged-in sessions instead of re-authenticating in a separate automation browser.
Agents control the browser through the open-source ego-browser skill, which exposes snapshot, fill, click, and navigate as in-page JavaScript tools. It works with Claude Code, Codex, Cursor, and other coding agents. macOS only for now, with Windows and Linux on the roadmap.
