Samtal

Samtal is a voice AI platform built by Applied AI Sweden. It provides text-to-speech, speech-to-text, voice cloning, and conversational agent APIs, all hosted in Sweden. The API is a drop-in ElevenLabs replacement, so existing ElevenLabs SDK code works by changing the base URL. The platform includes 49 premade voices across 25+ languages, custom voice cloning from audio samples, and voice design via descriptive parameters. Conversational agents support RAG-powered knowledge bases, MCP tool integration, and real-time WebSocket connections. Samtal targets B2B customers, particularly public sector organizations that require Swedish-owned and Swedish-hosted infrastructure.
