Laya is a non-autoregressive decision model built on ModernBERT. It answers typed questions (choice, score, yes/no) over 100+ languages in a single forward pass rather than generating tokens, with calibrated probabilities.
Install it with pip install laya, or use the TypeScript package. Extras add an HTTP server, an MCP server and integrations for LangChain, LlamaIndex and CrewAI. Weights are on Hugging Face under Apache-2.0. Berget AI also serves it as a hosted API at €0.042 per 1M tokens (September 2026).
