Opper is an EU-hosted AI gateway from Stockholm that routes to 300+ models across 30+ providers (Anthropic, OpenAI, Google, DeepSeek, Qwen) through a single OpenAI-compatible API. Requests are processed in AWS Stockholm and data stays in the EU by default, which makes it a practical route to frontier models under GDPR constraints.
Pricing is pay-as-you-go with token rates passed through at provider prices; Opper takes a 3% fee on credit purchases (5.5% with the Control Plane tier, which adds observability, intelligent routing, PII masking, and budget controls). Python and TypeScript SDKs, structured outputs, and an agent CLI round out the platform.
